This month Calrec is talking to PAC-12 Network’s Senior Audio Engineer Glenn Stillwell, live at the SVG College Summit in Atlanta.

Glenn has worked regional, national and international radio and television events since 1986, starting with the Sacramento Kings and taking in NBC/Comcast, CBS, ABC/ESPN, NASCAR, IndyCar and Lucas Oil HD Productions on the way, and including five Olympic games for OBS. He now leads the audio team at the Pac-12 Networks.

In this Technology Case Study¸ Glenn will discuss Pac-12 Networks’ ground-breaking, pioneering approach to remote production. Each year, Pac-12 Networks offers live coverage of 850 sporting events, making it one of the top live sports producers in the US.

Pac-12 Networks have 2 x Artemis and 3 x Summa consoles, and have been using Calrec since they went on air in 2012.

They pioneered this model of broadcasting and is inspiring others to do the same – in fact, this model is the inspiration to many of the industry’s big-hitters, looking at Pac-12’s infrastructure to help them become more efficient.

The SVG College Summit is May 29-31 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta. More information and registration can be found here.
